Ohhh Fun Times

Hello beautiful internet dwellers,

Don't worry I didn't forget ya, things have just gotten pretty hectic as of late! A lot of great things have been going on lately for myself and USU. First of all it is healthy relationship week here at USU, so in celebration we had a dating game that myself and a good friend (Erik Wynn) got to host. Following that I got to be on a relationship panel that got asked questions on how to maintain healthy relationships. It was overall a pretty great experience. Other events were an Area Government Retreat and the ever so insane Madi Gras celebration we have here at USU. This year I got to work some security for the DJ platform. Which was just overwhelming to look out at all the people dancing their guts out all over the dance floor. If you don't believe that last comment then check out the video below...

Told you, and if you want to see more then don't fret as there will be an episode about it, and there is always the simple solution of filling out that application online and come experience it for yourself. Anyways some of the other things I have going on are some way cool events such as the upcoming ASUSU elections. One I am really excited about is that I have been asked to host the Latino Student Leadership Conference. It is always exciting for me to bust out some of my culture, and even more exciting to be recognized as a leader! Overall this will be a great month and I will update for you again soon!

January Update and Mixtape. LETS GET IT!

So I guess the Holidays have come to an end! So many sick things happened, such as weddings, tons of parties, and of course quality family time. Good thing I was able to make a good time out of it. The time spent in Texas was fantastic. So now I am here ready to start another semester at USU. Already there is some exciting stuff going on, for instance this coming Thursday I have been asked to read at Helicon West at the True Aggie Cafe. I was asked to read a short story I wrote this past semester, which terrifies me because usually its just slam poetry I end up reading. Another thing coming up is the massive snowball fight on Saturday. If you see me run, I will be in full on survival mode at that point. If you think you can take me then I am up for it. So to kick things off I made a mixtape for January of the songs I have been listening to currently. If you like them, maybe, just maybe, I can set you off with some free tunes. Chase on TV!

Hey everyone,

In case you missed it on TV, this is my interview with ABC 4 about healthy living! Thanks to studio in Salt Lake for throwing up the video! If you want more tips on staying up on your health be sure to visit the folks over at the USU Health and Wellness Center. It isn't just a place for sick people! They have a nutritionist and preventative specialists that are there to help you! I know volunteering there and helping out has got me to a new level and got me on track with my healthy lifestyle!

The Goods from Greek Week

Hey everyone,

I just got done hosting the Greek Week Lip Sync Competition yesterday and man it was fun! Don't think I am going to leave yall hanging though. Here is a video of myself and Kyle tearing it up during our non-competition number. The song playing is from the current hit show Glee and it is the Bon Jovi/ Usher mash-up.

November is pretty much going to be amazing.

If this picture doesn't enforce how much fun I am having this semester then I do not know what will. November is about to get insane. It's already November 2nd and I barely found out today that an article was written on me! My own article just about me! How insane is that?! A way cool dude named Nick Rust out of the blue interviewed me, and I totally thought it was just for a class, but low and behold there is a piece on the internet and I am blown away by some of the nice things said. As for the rest of November there is some great stuff to follow, such as myself being asked to host a Greek Week event! I am only a friend to Greek life around campus, so it was really an honor to be asked to host their lip syncing competition on the 5th of November. I am going to get my Ryan Seacrest on for this event! Then on the 9th of November I will be celebrating my birthday, and all I want is to see my friends for that day! Following that I am being sent to a Conference in Arizona called IACURH, which I co-coordinated a dance number for all USU attendees!

So as you can see, I got my hands full, but in a fantastic way. So get ready for November, I will keep everyone updated! Man this place keeps me busy, but it also keeps me stoked on life! Talk to everyone soon!
